Alerts are raised when an activity has some effect on the normal performance of Pramati Server. They are generated by the MBean components for process notification or managing thresholds and provide an exception handling mechanism to raise and record exceptions when error conditions occur, and when thresholds cross their limits.
Detecting error conditions is the first step in handling errors. Error conditions may be generated due to:
- Interactions with external servers
- Logic of the application
System errors may be generated because of:
- The system running out of memory
- Node failures
