How do I manage Friend Servers?

Friend Servers are Servers that are connected to the LAN on which Pramati Server is running.

How do I configure Friend Servers?

To configure Friend Servers, click the Configure > Managed Servers. This opens up a new window that provides a snapshot of all Servers configured and running on Pramati Server. As seen in the following image, you can provide the Name, Host, Lookup Port, and the Type of Server (StandAlone Server, Cluster Node, or Message Server) of the new server you want to configure.

Click Save or Cancel as required. If you click Save, you will be taken to the next screen where you must click Connect to add the Servers.

How do I monitor Friend Servers?

To monitor other servers on the LAN, select Monitor > Managed Servers on the Console. This displays the Friend Servers page, with options for editing and starting the Servers. The started Server is represented with a green background, and the following details are displayed:

Lookup PortThe address of the lookup port.
Http PortThe address of the HTTP port.
Start TimeThe date and time when the Server was started.
Type of ServerThe type of Server - Standalone, cluster node, or Message Server.
AlertsThe number of alerts.

You can use this screen to connect to the configured friend server.
