How do I Verify Installation of Message Server on Windows?

Use the following steps to verify installation of Message Server on Windows:

  1. To verify the embedded Message Server, open a command prompt and go to the directory <install_dir>\server\bin.
  2. Execute runjms.bat
  3. This starts the Message Server and brings up the Server Shell prompt. Use this prompt for performing Message Server administration and deployment tasks.
  4. To shut down the Message Server, type shutdown at the default prompt. The Message Server stops and you return to the command prompt.
