Configuring Pramati Server Tools Eclipse Feature version 1.0.1
This document lists steps for configuring Pramati Server Tools Eclipse Feature version 1.0.1. This is compliant with WTP 1.5.
1. Once the Pramati plugin has been installed, on the Eclipse Workbench select the Windows menu. From the options provided, select Open Perspective -> Other. Select J2EE and click OK. This displays the J2EE-Eclipse SDK main screen with the Problems tab open in the lower right of the screen. Select the Servers tab, right click and create a new Server.
2. In the new screen that opens, enter the Server name. By default it is localhost. Select Pramati as server type and click Next.
3. Configure the server runtime. Select the JDK. Remember, the runtime should point to JDK not a JRE. Enter the Application Server Directory in both fields (that is, Application Server Directory and Classpath variable). Click Next.
4. Enter the Server details for Address, Port, Security Realm, User Name, and Password. Click Finish.
5. The Server is now configured and is shown in the Servers tab of J2EE Perspective.
6. To start the Server, right click on the Server name and click Start in the menu as below:
